Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 Released

by Don_HH2K

SillyDog701 member Ramona informed us that Thunderbird 1.5.0.2 has been publicly released. This new release fixes a number of outstanding security holes found in 1.5, and improves Thunderbird's overall performance and stability. This release also coincides with the release of Firefox 1.5.0.2, released shortly under a week ago. To compensate for the new Firefox version, Thunderbird 1.5.0.1 was skipped in favor of 1.5.0.2.

It was noted that 1.5.0.2 does not include support for Mac OS X's new Universal Binary format, so any user of Thunderbird on Mac OS X (Intel) will need to run Thunderbird under Rosetta (or compile their own build).
