Opera 9.0 Beta released

SillyDog701 member Pedro Saraiva informed us Opera Software announced the first public Beta of Opera 9. This version includes Widgets, small Web programs running in their own windows that live on users' desktops. The Opera 9 Beta also features support for BitTorrent, a popular file downloading technology, in addition to content blocker and thumbnail previews of tabbed sites.

Opera 9.0 Technical Preview 2 was released on 7th February; Opera 8.54 was released on 5th April.
