Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 Released

Thunderbird 1.0Al has reported that the long-awaited 1.0 version of the Mozilla Thunderbird standalone e-mail and newsgroup client is now available.

Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0 contains a number of new features and improvements over earlier versions, including adaptive junk mail controls, RSS integration,
and the capabilities to display messages based on previously set search criteria, combine multiple POP3 accounts into a single global inbox, group messages in a folder by certain attributes, and block remote image requests in certain e-mails, according to release notes.
