Flock to end on 26 April 2011

by Antony

FlockFlock browser, best known for its integration with social networks is pulling the plugs on 26th April 2011 after 6 years of service. Flock was a Firefox based browser focused on social networking. Flock integrates social networking and media services started with Flickr, del.icio.us, then a number of social websites/services including MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Blogger, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, etc. Late last year, Flock 3 moved from Firefox-engine to Chromium (WebKit).

Unfortunately, Flock is pulling the plugs.

It seems like not just stop supporting after 26th April, but some key features will stop working after that date.

Flock recommends users current Flock users to switch to Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox browser.
