Firefox turns 5
Five years on this Mozilla Foundation released Firefox 1.0 to public, a major new product since Mozilla Suite (then known as Mozilla Application Suite, now known as SeaMonkey) first released in June 2002. The major difference between Firefox and Mozilla Suite? Firefox is just the web browser, and aimed to be a lightweight and fast browser. Later Mozilla Foundation created a subsidiary Mozilla Corporation, and dropped the officially development of Mozilla Suite (SeaMonkey).
Back then, Netscape (browser) was not dead yet. Netscape 7.2 was the latest Netscape browser, and Netscape Browser Review Program (Netscape 8) surfaced to air a week later.
Back then, SillyDog701 started the hosting of Netscape Browser Archive in July 1999. (It has just be a bit over 10 years.) SillyDog701 Message Centre is shifting its support from Netscape to Firefox.

Well, Netscape 8, a browser that has two engines, both Internet Explorer and Firefox engines did not success. The idea was very good personally I believe as it allows users to browse almost every site on the web without facing any issues. Somehow people don't like that idea.
