Firefox 3.6.19 released: no fix, but removes feature!

Mozilla has released Firefox 3.6.19. Unlike previous minor updates, Firefox 3.6.19 is not a maintenance release, it does not addressing six security issues. Instead, it removes certain feature.

Firefox 3.6.19 fixes the following issues found in previous versions of Firefox 3.6:
* Turned off downloadable font support for users running Mac OS X 10.7 due to an underlying platform bug. We hope to enable them again in the future

Today I have run into crippling problems with my Firefox 3.6.18 installation; suddenly I am unable to open more than one window for the browser, and the Google bar on the upper right corner works erratically. So far I haven't been able to get any kind of assistance from the Support section of the Mozilla site to this problem. I tried installing Firefox 5.0, but discovered that it removes two properties of the 3.6 that I find vitally important; it prevents me from looking through a list of the previous pages I've visited when I press the Back-button, only taking me one page backwards at a time, and it opens new tabs only at the end of the window list, rather than next to the previous tab as I've gotten used to. It's also at least as unstable as the previous version, easily crashing and freezing constantly. And when I tried to downgrade back to the earlier version, not only did the same problem reemerge, but also brought the issue of the new tabs opening to wrong place with it.
So boring a problem.I have backed to Avant browser and will never back until firefox release a real stable version.
