Firefox 3.0 Release Candidate 1 released

SillyDog701 Member harrybee informed us that Mozilla has released Firefox 3.0 Release Candidate 1. According to Release Notes, Firefox 3 is based on Gecko 1.9 rendering engine which includes more than 14,000 updates and a number of major re-architecting to provide improved performance, stability, rendering correctness, and code simplification and sustainability.

Firefox 3.0 Release Candidate 1 is not yet an official shipping version. If you want to try out the next version of Firefox or to help Mozilla test out Firefox 3.0, you can download Firefox 3.0 Release Candidate 1 from here.
