Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Released
by Billy
The Mozilla Foundation has released Mozilla Firefox 1.5. Mozilla Firefox 1.5 is the first major Firefox release since the Mozilla Firefox 1.0 launch over a year ago and is the culmination of more than a year and a half of work on the Gecko 1.8 branch.
The Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Release Notes outline the new features in this milestone that differ from the Firefox 1.0.x branch.

Overall Firefox 1.5 seems to have really shaped up to be a great release. Now where are the Firefox 1.5 CDs? I gots to buy me some, add some stickers, and pass them out at the office! (I guess we still got to wait for Thunderbird 1.5)
You know, this is odd but my Windows version of Firefox 1.5rc3 ran an update about 3 days ago that became 1.5 Final but I have seen it
mentioned nowhere and all sources show 1.5rc3 as the latest... Very odd.
Cool! Was waiting for the final version, because I really prefer stable releases for betas and alphas.
Too bad the wonderful Prefbar extension doesn't work with it. Do you know if there are any other extensions that let you toggle settings from a toolbar (and that work with v1.5)?
