Code execution vulnerability found in Firefox 3.0

Just few hours after the release of Firefox 3.0, a researcher has found a critical code execution vulnerability that can put millions of Firefox 3.0 and 2.0.0.x users at risk. According to a report, TippingPoint’s Zero Day Initiative (ZDI) has purchased the software vulnerability data.
Meanwhile, Mozilla Firefox 3.0 reached more than 8.3 million downloads.
