Camino 0.8 Roadmap
The leader of Camino development Mike Pinkerton wrote a roadmap for Camino 0.8.
Camino 0.8 will be ship on March 2004. That would make one year between current stable Camino 0.7. There's also an FAQ section in the roadmap, explains a number of things relating to Camino.
Mike Pinkerton's roadmap for Camino 0.8:
We have several key goals for this release:
* as fast, as stable, and as polished as Camino 0.7, if not more so
* rock solid release for 10.1.x users
* public release of features baking in nightly builds
* take advantage of fixes/improvements in Gecko since Mozilla 1.0
December:
* triage bugs for Camino0.8
* set up nomination mechanism
* Infrastructure, crasher, and polish bugs
January:
* Infrastructure, crasher, and polish bugs
February:
* drive buglist to zarro
* branch with Mozilla1.7
March:
* ship!
