next Netscape prototype based on Firefox 1.0

News from Netscape Prototype Programme, the next Netscape Browser Prototype will be based on Firefox 1.0, instead of previous Firefox 0.9.4 which the first Netscape Browser Prototype was based on. The first Netscape Browser Prototype was released for limited number of testers in December, MozInfo701 reported the exciting news first on 16th November 2004.

The next release of Netscape Browser Prototype will be available later this week, and there won't be any new features or new designs. It will be a "codebase" upgrade, and hope to see the performance improvement.
